  • register for English classes
  • referrals
  • advocacy
  • accompaniment to services
  • build your social network with others in the community
  • and lots more!

We run a number of weekly and monthly programs for newcomers including an:

  • Antigonish/Guysborough Multicultural Support Group
  • Immigrant Women’s Support Group
  • Monthly information sessions

How to Participate:

These programs are a great way to learn more about topics of interest, meet new people, be social, make new friends and learn about cultures. If you would like to participate please contact Jubanti by phone (number can be found at bottom of page).

We are committed to making Antigonish and Guysborough diverse, inclusive, and welcoming communities where newcomers to Canada want to live and decide to stay! We are involved with many community organizations and initiatives dedicated to this goal, and can arrange workshops on these topics for your group, organization, or workplace.
