We are grateful to the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) and the Nova Scotia Advisory Council on the Status of Women who have committed additional funding to the Healthy Relationships for Youth program over the next five years.

A Strike for Women’s Rights

June 24th, 2024 will mark the 2nd anniversary of the overturning of Roe v. Wade. A women’s strike will be held in recognition of this decision and the continued fight for human rights and reproductive rights. The AWRCSASA will be participating in this strike in solidarity with our American sisters.

AWRCSAS Annual General Meeting

The Antigonish Women’s Centre & Sexual Assault Services Association is holding its AGM June 25th, 6 pm at the People’s Place Library in Antigonish.  This year our guest speaker is Aimee MacDonald, the Gender and Sexual Diversity Advisor at St. F.X. University.  Everyone is welcome!  Light refreshments will be served.  We hope to see you there!
