Who This
is For
Our team at the Lindsay’s Health Centre for Women offers services to women, adolescent girls (16 years of age and older), Two-Spirit, trans, and non-binary people.
What
we Do
Our team at the Lindsay’s Health Centre for Women provides
appointments throughout the week. We ask that you be mindful that we are a small clinic with limited hours each week.
Nurse Practitioner: Mondays and Wednesdays.
Physician: Thursdays

In addition, we have Cianna, a Registered Social Worker for Nova Scotia Health who is able to offer short-term (1–3 session) one-on-one appointments that focus on creating a plan and setting short-term goals to address mental health and addiction concerns. Appointments with Cianna are available every other Monday in Guysborough and every Thursday afternoon in Antigonish.
How we Work
Our team at the Lindsay’s Health Centre for Women approaches health care in a person-centered and collaborative way. Our team includes a Physician, Nurse Practitioner, Registered Social Worker, and our medical receptionist. The AWRCSASA complements the health care our team offers with women’s support workers. They respect the autonomy, confidentiality, and privacy of all people who use their services.
