we Do

  • Language support
Our immigrant support program coordinator registers you for English language classes and in language evaluation programs
  • Referrals to supportive agencies
Our immigrant support program coordinator connects you with other resources in the community and in the province to help you get the support you need
  • Networking and social engagement support
Our immigrant support program coordinator organizes activities to help you meet new people, increase your connection to community, and learn about topics of interest. She offers weekly and monthly programs that include: the Antigonish and Guysborough Multicultural Support Group, the Immigrant Women’s Support Group, and information sessions.
  • Building community around newcomers
