The Antigonish Women Support Workers provide consistent support to women, adolescent girls (16+), Two-Spirit, trans, and non-binary individuals in Antigonish and Guysborough Counties. They assist with navigating government programs, accessing mental health resources, healing from trauma, settlement resources, and building community connections.

With a commitment to autonomy and privacy, they empower individuals with the information and resources needed to make informed decisions. Services are available through face-to-face, virtual, and outreach support, particularly in remote and rural areas.

Beyond individual support, Women Support Workers engage in community outreach through workshops, programs, and advocacy efforts. They collaborate with community partners to address poverty, gender-based violence, and social isolation. By fostering strong networks and providing crucial resources, they help individuals and communities thrive. If you or someone you know needs support, reach out—help is available.
